Entrepreneur Case Study - Cree Star Gifts
This case study was a part of the “Empower Her” campaign, aimed at highlighting successful female entrepreneurs who had received support from FPEGF in the process of creating or running their businesses.
Cree Star Gifts is located in Swan River, Manitoba and are the manufacturers and sellers of tipis, as well as resellers of other various hand crafted cultural items.
In this case study, we highlight not only Corinne’s success, but how with the right supports and knowledge, we can uplift our women to thrive and succeed.

Entrepreneur Case Study - Triple T Cabins
This case study was a part of the “Empower Her” campaign, aimed at highlighting successful female entrepreneurs who had received support from FPEGF in the process of creating or running their businesses.
Triple T Cabins is located in Misipawistik Cree Nation, Manitoba. It is a cabins business that houses many kinds of travellers as they make their way to the area or those who happen to be travelling further North or South.
Without the care and hospitality offered by Edith, many travellers would not have a safe place to stay on their travels throughout the region.

First Nation Case Study - Long Plain First Nation
This case study was a part of the Community Expansion program which offered funding to help First Nation’s grow businesses within their own communities.
Arrowhead Development Corporation is the economic development branch of Long Plain First Nation and runs multiple businesses including the Madison Petro Canada located on the urban reserve in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
First Peoples Economic Growth Fund played a big part in helping the growth of the community, as the Madison Petro Canada’s growth led into other partnerships and investment dollars that were then used to aid in other businesses run by the nation.

First Nation Case Study - Fisher River Cree Nation
This case study was a part of the Community Expansion program which offered funding to help First Nation’s grow businesses within their own communities.
Fisher River Economic Development Corporation is the economic development branch of Fisher River Cree Nation and runs multiple business on the reserve including the Bay River Inn as well as the Fisher River Building Supplies.
First Peoples Economic Growth Fund played a big part in helping the growth of the community and this case study was an insight into not only what was offered to Fisher River, but what could potentially be done to aid other First Nation communities.

Community Expansion Ad Campaign
Below are the 2 ads that were made for promoting First Peoples Economic Growth Funds “Community Expansion” campaign to be run on all social platforms, each highlighting a community we had followed during our case studies. These ads were placed online and run for multiple months to encourage other First Nations to apply for the aids offered by First Peoples. We used clips of the case studies for these ads along with new graphics.
