Jordan Joseph Gauvreau

My name is Jordan Joseph Gauvreau, I am an Indigenous photographer, videographer and motion graphics artist out of Winnipeg, MB. I go by the name “jordanxjoseph”. I’ve recently graduated from the Digital Media Design program at Red River College in May 2020 where I majored in Video & Motion Graphics.

I hope to build my career in the creative arts industry over the coming years, having completed 2 years of creative arts training at Red River, I plan to keep building on the skills I already possess. I have had opportunities to work freelance jobs over the past few years since graduating as well as working as a sales associate at Don’s Photo for the past couple of years. Working at Don’s Photo has taught me a lot about the gear used by all levels of photo & video production from weddings to film and many other facets of the industry. Despite the early career challenges faced due to the pandemic, I’m looking to continue growing my personal brand and my skillset. I’ve spent the past couple years focusing on my editing the most, especially in my photography and have started to branch back out into my videography. I’m always open to growing as a creative, learning new techniques, improving on previous ones and I love feedback. I’m a big fan of the Adobe suit of programs and I can use almost all of the programs fluently. (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Indesign) I’ve also received training in C4D for 3D motion graphics and used Davinci Resolve for colour grading on some projects in the past.

In my spare time I enjoy doing nature & macro photography, as well as watching a good anime, playing an engaging game, or enjoying various types of music. I’m always up for a good conversation but also enjoy a quiet and cozy environment in my downtime.
