About Me
A little about me
My name is Jordan Joseph Gauvreau, I go by the name “jordanxjoseph” online. Born & raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I am a biracial videographer and animator. I am a graduate of Red River College’s Digital Media Design program with a major in Video & Motion Graphics. I have 3 years of experience in the visual arts field now and I’m always looking to learn new skills, equipment, techniques and expand my horizons as a creative.
I am comfortable using a wide range of programs including all of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, but I spend the most of my time using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop & Lightroom. I’ve also shot using multiple camera brands including Canon, Nikon, Sony, and have even started to fly drones in the past year.
Having worked with local organisations such as First Peoples Economic Growth Fund, Peguis First Nation’s School Board, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre as well as the Government of Manitoba, I’ve gotten to experience a wide range of projects in a short amount of time as a creative.
What I like to create
Stunning visuals that truly reflect the moment, whether that be through cinematic looks, dreamy colour correction, or emotional story telling, I want the viewer to feel like they were truly present in that moment.
When I’m not working on project work, I enjoy working on my own photography amongst other things, usually focusing on macro & wildlife as my subjects. (You can view my gallery above) I’ve also dabbled in digital illustration from time to time, as a way of practicing my asset creation and lighting.
