My demo reel highlighting my work from my time in Red River College’s Digital Media Design program as well as some of my freelance work during the pandemic.
Dark Forest
The goal for this video was to highlight different techniques we had learned like laying graphics overtop footage with motion tracking techniques in After Effects using Mocha, as well as creative colour treatments that were done using Davinci Resolve.
Red River PSA
A 30 second PSA for Digital Media Design, a Red River College program. Shot at the Roblin Centre campus, features real DMD students and facilities. Shallow depth of field was required for this assignment as well as simple motion graphics titles. Footage was pooled collectively by all students, my was task was to capture footage of faces.
The Plug Canada
Radio show interview of Sweetrsnd & PureSoul member Nathaniel Essayas at The Plug Canada UMFM 105.1. The footage for this was shot with fellow videographer Quentin Robb, with him getting close up and depth of field shots while I captured the wide shot footage.
Architecture Showcase
This project was a video assignment to make full use of sliders and to showcase an area’s architecture. I had chosen the historic Chinatown location in downtown Winnipeg to highlight, between the buildings, walkways over the pond and flowers, there was a lot to show off.
Silent Summer - SS Benny
The music video for Silent Summer by SS Benny.
This video was edited by a fellow videographer Quentin Robb. I was the second camera man for this shoot. The shots I was responsible for include most side angles (0:25) , the reappearing above the car shots (1:01) , any of the inside of the car shots (1:33) , the secondary angles on the parking garage/dancing scene (1:42, 1:58), as well as the split lighting shot (2:46)
Arcadia & Company Exteriors
The full promotional video I did for Arcadia, a local small business landscaping company. This promo follows a full backyard transformation throughout the entire process and highlights some of the machinery and techniques used during the entire week long remodel.
